Every class includes

The same teacher, start to finish

Your group keeps one teacher for the whole course. If your teacher is ill, another teacher covers the class or it moves to a new date.

A handout for every class

A PDF with the words, a short dialogue, grammar and exercises, sent before the class.

Homework in the SFI Prov app

The free app has each lesson’s words with recorded audio, so class time goes to speaking.

Plenty of speaking

With 5 students at most, you speak in every class, in pairs and with the teacher.

Questions

Is this SFI?

No. SFI (Swedish for immigrants) is the free course run by Swedish municipalities. These are private classes from SverigeFokus and do not give an SFI grade. They go from complete beginner up to SFI D level, so they work before SFI or alongside it.

Do I need to live in Sweden?

No. The classes are online, and the form shows every time in your own time zone.

What if I miss a class?

You still get the handout and the app homework, so you can catch up. Classes are not recorded.

How do I know my level?

Pick the description that fits best in the form. Your teacher checks your level in the first class.
